About The Position

Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, patient care services department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a compact state license.
• BCLS required.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 3 months from date of hire.
• Avade workplace violence prevention training (Level II) required after hire, no later than 3 months, and maintained annually; training is provided in-house.
• No experience is required for part-time or full-time employees.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months.
• Certification in area of expertise preferred.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
