About The Position
Registered Nurses provide nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame and will routinely lead a team of care providers. This role is responsible to the Director of Cath Lab.
Requirements
- Associate Degree Nurse or Bachelor of Science Nursing
- Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Obtains and maintains ACLS, within 90 days of employment
- At least 1 year of critical care, ED or OR, experience, required
- Background Check

- Ability to be mobile – continually
- Crouching (bend at knees) – continually
- Stooping (bend at waist) – continually
- Twisting (knees, waist, neck) – continually
- Turn/Pivot – continually
- Reaching overhead – continually
- Reaching extension – continually
- Pushing/Pulling – continually
- Ability to talk to patient and/or staff – continually
- Ability to hear patients and/or alarms – continually
- Vision (near and/or far) – continually
- Ability to distinguish colors – continually
- Bloodborne Exposure (Refer to Bloodborne Exposure Control Plan in Policy Tech for possible exposure tasks) Continually
- Respirator Fit Testing Required Annually
Nice To Haves
- Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience, preferred
