About The Position
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab). The role involves performing cardiac procedures and educating patients on post-procedure discharge. Knowledge of sterile cath lab procedures and x-ray precautions is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License
- Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area
- Required knowledge of sterile cath lab procedures.
- Educate patients on discharge from procedure.
- Knowledge of x ray precautions.
