RN Cath Lab
About The Position
This role requires a skilled RN with experience in a Cath Lab setting, proficient in both diagnostic procedures and Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCIs). The position involves monitoring, circulating, and administering sedation. Advanced skills in Interventional Radiology (IR), Specials, and Vascular procedures are also necessary. The unit performs a range of procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI for specific lesion types (Type A, B1, some B2, but not Type C), Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Impella, Getinge IABP, and utilizes Boston Polaris for FFR and IVUS, as well as Abbott Illumien for FFR.
Requirements
- Cath Lab experience
- Experience with diagnostic procedures
- Experience with PCIs
- Monitoring experience (all types)
- Circulating experience
- Sedation administration experience (RN)
- Scrubbing experience (Tech)
- Advanced skills in IR, Specials, Vascular procedures
- RN licensure
- ARRT or RCIS certification
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Circulate during procedures
- Administer sedation to patients
- Perform scrubbing duties (as a Tech)
- Assist with Interventional Radiology (IR), Specials, and Vascular procedures
- Perform left and right heart catheterizations
- Perform PCI (Type A, B1, some B2 lesions)
- Operate Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Impella, Getinge IABP
- Utilize Boston Polaris for FFR and IVUS
- Utilize Abbott Illumien for FFR
