About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The shift schedule is from 07:00 to 17:00. This is a traveler position.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
- Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
- One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area required.
Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition during procedures.
- Assist physicians with cardiac procedures.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care.
