About The Position
Assists Physician as Scrub Tech During Cardiac Procedures /Pacemaker Implants. Maneuvers X-Ray equipment into rotated/skewed positions to acquire diagnostic images of the Heart or other anatomic areas as needed. Assists with inventory and supplies, assists in transport of patients to and from Cath Lab. Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital’s mission, vision and values.
Requirements
- Basic Computer Skills
- Hemodynamic Monitoring
- Basic EKG Interpretation
- Operation and Manipulation of X-Ray Equipment
- Intravascular Ultrasound/Doppler Pressure wire.
- One year Cardiac Cath Lab or Neurovascular/ Peripheral Vascular Angiography Lab experience.
- 2 Years Accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Current State and National Registry
- ACLS/BCLS
Responsibilities
- Advanced EKG interpretation /Blood Pressure/ Oxygen
- Operations of various equipment: Digital X-Ray Equipment, Hemodynamic Monitor.
- Intravascular Ultrasound/ Doppler Pressure Wire, Pressure Injector
- Intra- Aortic Balloon Pump
- Assist Physician in Pacemaker implantation/ Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization
- Inventory/supply procurement/ Billing /Coding
