About The Position

As an RN, you will facilitate communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and the patient and family to meet the patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will promote patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, follow patient care standards and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate accountability for relationship-based care and the organization’s mission.

This is a PRN position with a 15% PRN differential and a $4.75/hour base pay specialty differential. The schedule requires availability for a minimum of five shifts per six-week scheduling period. Additional on-call requirements may apply, with a 30-minute callback radius.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or licensure by endorsement.
• RN license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Evaluate patient responses and intervene to support optimal outcomes; develop and implement plans of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, incision and wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts and records thoroughly and confidentially; document patient status, interventions, responses, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate for, and collaborate to protect each patient’s health, safety, and rights.
• Provide patient and family education by assessing learning readiness, needs, and ability; teach and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching.
