About The Position

Coordinates and provides patient care using the nursing process as the foundation for clinical decision-making. Partners with patients and families to attain, maintain, and restore health whenever possible. Blends caring, compassion, knowledge, and integrity to provide safe, quality care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity, and rights. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• RN licensure.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care.
• Administers medications as prescribed.
• Provides health teaching and education to patients, families, and/or significant others.
• Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
• Communicates and collaborates with others in providing patient care.
• Provides clinical leadership.
• Supports lifelong learning.
• Completes assigned goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
