About The Position

Aegis Healthcare is expanding its Home Health and Hospice Nursing Teams. This is a part-time position requiring two days during the week and weekend on-call shifts from Friday 5 pm to Monday 8 am, working two weekends a month. The compensation is between $38-$44 per hour, and the location is Tucson, AZ. Aegis Healthcare is Arizona's premier residential healthcare provider, offering a full spectrum of services including Home Health, Hospice, Palliative Care, Mobile Primary Care, Outpatient Therapy, DME, and Medical Transport. Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (or state of practice).
Effective verbal, written, and time management skills.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
Ability to perform patient transfers with a full range of movement.
Current CPR certification.
Negative TB test.
Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help obtain it).
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Previous Home Health or Hospice experience.

Responsibilities

Conducting comprehensive physical, social, and psychological assessments.
Collaborating with patients, families, and the Interdisciplinary Group to create individualized care plans.
Managing care delivery and maintaining meticulous patient records.
Acting as a resource for families, making proactive referrals, and fostering a holistic care experience.
