About The Position

The RN Case Manager position is essential for maintaining safe staffing levels, ensuring quality patient care, and reducing costly contract labor. The Milford office currently has a census of 110 patients, which can increase to over 120. The average caseload for an RN is 15-18 patients, which is at the upper limit of safe practice. The office relies on three contract nurses due to ongoing staffing gaps. Higher caseloads increase the risk of delays, errors, and missed care, impacting patient outcomes and regulatory compliance. Staffing shortages also contribute to burnout, turnover, and increased unplanned PTO. Filling this vacancy will stabilize the team, reduce labor costs associated with contract nurses, and ensure consistent patient care.
