About The Position
The Care Team Hospice is looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse in Peoria, Illinois and the surrounding areas. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 11am - 7pm with call (some flexibility in schedule). We specialize in providing Hospice Care in the home and facilities. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Current State license as a Registered Nurse
- Current Drivers License
- Two years experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting
- 1 yr full time hospice experience
- Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
- Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid and current auto liability insurance.
- Proof of current CPR.
- Ability to work flexible schedule
- Ability to travel locally
Responsibilities
- Perform admissions and administer nursing care for patients of all ages in their place of residence.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary group, patient/family and referring agency.
- Assume the responsibility for coordination of care.
