Requirements

  • Valid RN license
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in nursing
  • Certification in case management (e.g., CCM, CDMS, COHN)
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation processes
  • Hands-on case management experience
  • Intermediate-advanced computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage case management files for injured employees within the workers' compensation framework.
  • Maintain constant communication with all relevant parties to ensure continuous monitoring of progress and strict adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
  • Educate providers and facilitate a smooth return-to-work process.
  • Document proficiently in our case management software.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Act as a crucial liaison for injured employees.
  • Provide exemplary customer service.
  • Assist with specialist referrals and ensure optimal utilization of our provider network.
  • Coordinate closely with employers and claims adjusters to support effective return-to-work efforts.
