About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Case Management, Utilization Review, and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) within an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced with EPIC EMR and capable of managing care coordination, utilization review processes, and documentation compliance.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- BLS certification (must be current or able to recertify)
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in the field
- At least 1.5 years of recent acute care hospital experience (within the last 2 years)
- Experience in hospitals of similar size or trauma level
- EPIC EMR experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Perform case management, utilization review, and CDI functions
- Coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Review and ensure accuracy of clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and workflow processes
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
