About The Position

Fairview is searching for a hardworking and enthusiastic RN who is looking for an exciting career in our busy Care Suites Department located at our Edina, Minnesota campus! Working together, we respectfully address the comprehensive needs of our patients and their families. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in the care suites unit? If so, then this might just be the position for you! Our Care Suites include Pre-Post Cath Lab and Radiology/ Imaging and other cardiovascular patients. Will perform comprehensive nursing assessments on interventional and diagnostic patients included under the radiology/cardiovascular care umbrella. Pre and Post procedure care responsibilities encompass a wide range of radiology diagnostic and interventional procedures including, but not limited to heart caths, PTCR, arterial angiograms, electrophysiology studies, and a wide range of radiologic diagnostic and interventional procedures. Nursing responsibilities also include monitoring patients receiving sedation in a variety of settings. Primary population is adults with some pediatrics.

Requirements

Active MN RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
2 years of RN Critical Care, CICU, or IMC experience

Nice To Haves

BSN
1 year of pre/post procedural experience
Providing moderate sedation
Experience with Post Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Sheath removal

Responsibilities

Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.

Promotes a culture of evidence based practice (EBP)
