Requirements

RN (Registered Nurse)
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Nice To Haves

5 years clinical experience in an acute care environment OR 3 years experience with a Bachelors degree in Nursing
Cardiology experience

Responsibilities

Assesses the patient continuously for medical necessity, appropriate level of care, financial situation and discharge barriers
Responsible for completing physical assessments upon admission
Initiates discharge planning and will collaboratively work with the interdisciplinary team to identify and coordinate needed services and resources
Provides education to patient's family and staff as required
Audits data abstraction for accuracy and provides concurrent feedback to physicians regarding quality measures
