About The Position

This role involves delivering professional nursing care, fulfilling on-call requirements, and preparing operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for cardiovascular surgical or invasive procedures. The position requires 2 years of OR experience. Responsibilities include performing scrub functions, handling instruments and supplies during complex cardiovascular surgical procedures, performing circulating functions such as monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition while managing overall nursing care, and assisting operating physicians and anesthesia providers with accessing and maintaining lines and intubation during cardiovascular procedures.

Requirements

Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
2 years of OR experience needed.
