About The Position
The Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) is a specialized unit that provides critical care primarily focused on the post-operative recovery of adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
Requirements
- AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- AL or Compact License (No temporary licenses accepted)
- 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree required
Nice To Haves
- AHA PALS certification preferred if working in pediatric unit
Responsibilities
- Provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a 4-bed unit
- Focus on post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring
