The J7-3 Cardiology Stepdown Unit specializes in medical support for populations managing conditions like myocardial infractions, chronic heart failure, dysrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension and others. As RN in this department, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience. All the while, you will continue growing as an RN and gaining extensive hands-on experience in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving healthcare setting.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
One-year of current acute care RN experience (will consider military RN experience)
If in a Critical Care area an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Certification (must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment)
