About The Position
This Cardiac Telemetry RN position supports adult patients in observation status and inpatient overflow, covering a wide range of cardiac and acute medical diagnoses. Floating is required to like units at this hospital or close by hospitals depending on need.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Pyxis & Omnicell medication systems
- Minimum one year of EPIC experience required
- SC RN License required
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- At least 1 year of experience in the field required
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Responsibilities
- Cardiac / Telemetry Monitoring
- Pulse Oximetry Monitoring
- Patient Assessment
- Coordination of testing and procedures
- Collaboration with providers
- Acute Nursing Care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop a patient-specific plan of care
- Consultations with specialty services to include but not limited to cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, and neurology
- Cardiac / telemetry monitoring
- Permanent pacemaker pacing
- TEE
- Negative pressure isolation (AFB)
- Thoracentesis/Paracentesis
- Level 3 administration of continuous intravenous infusions per Prisma Health policy
- Level 3 IV Push medications for inpatient care per Prisma Health policy
