About The Position

HireNow Staffing is recruiting experienced Registered Nurses for multiple Cardiac Telemetry and Medical-Surgical openings with an established hospital in Gainesville, Florida. These opportunities are designed for clinically confident nurses who can manage complex patient needs, recognize changes in condition, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced acute-care environment. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner. Selected candidates will be employed directly by the hiring hospital.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of professional RN experience
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license: Multistate compact RN license, or Applicable Florida RN license
  • No current or previous disciplinary action against any nursing license
  • Ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Availability for rotating weekends
  • Strong patient-assessment, clinical-judgment, and communication skills
  • Ability to satisfy all hospital credentialing, background, health, and onboarding requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Recent Cardiac Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, Progressive Care, or comparable acute-care experience
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical patients.
  • Complete comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition.
  • Recognize arrhythmias and promptly escalate significant clinical findings.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered interventions.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, case managers, therapists, and other clinical professionals.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Follow infection-prevention, patient-safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in rotating weekend coverage and other assigned scheduling needs.
