About The Position
This position provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording and communicating patient condition, serving as a primary coordinator for all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.
Responsibilities
