About The Position

Our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit is a mixed-acuity unit that cares for both telemetry and step-down patients with a variety of cardiovascular and medical conditions. Our nurses care for a diverse patient population, including post-cardiac procedure patients, heart failure, arrhythmias, stroke, and vascular surgery patients. We work collaboratively to deliver safe, high-quality care while building expertise in cardiac monitoring, progressive care nursing, and patient education. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
1 year Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular and medical conditions.
Care for post-cardiac procedure patients, heart failure, arrhythmias, stroke, and vascular surgery patients.
Build expertise in cardiac monitoring, progressive care nursing, and patient education.
