Full Time RN in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Northwest Medical Center Tucson working in Cath Lab 4 / 10's with some weekend call. Electrophysiology (EP) procedures are specialized, often minimally invasive, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques used to evaluate and treat heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). About our Cath Lab: The Cardiac Catheterization Department is composed of three catheterization labs as well as one hybrid room and Cardiac Observation Unit (COU) where our patients are prepped for procedures and recovered post procedure. Our team works with high risk, high acuity patients and pride ourselves in superb outcomes. Bedside procedures such as Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversions (CV) are performed in COU. Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality care based on established clinical protocols and physician/provider orders. The RN collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes, while maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
