About The Position
Cath Lab nurses are responsible for working in the cardiac catheterization lab where they assist doctors with procedures involving the heart. They monitor the patient's health before, during, and after the procedures.
Requirements
- RN cath lab experience.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Familiarity with GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment.
- Proficiency in using the Merge EMR system.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EP and structural heart procedures preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in EP, structural heart, and coronary procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a team of 3-4 staff per room.
- Provide care and monitoring for patients pre and post-catheterization procedures.
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for after-hours and weekends.
