About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various cardiac procedures while ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients. This position is based in a dynamic acute care setting located in the city of your convenience. Common patient diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, CAD, PAD, PVD, CHF, Heart blocks, and Cancer. Types of cases handled include Cardiac, peripheral vascular, interventional radiology, and pacemaker insertions. The unit has 3 Cath Lab rooms and 1 Hybrid OR, with an average of 13-26 cases per day.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with cardiac cases
- ARRT certification
- AZRT certification
- BLS Certification
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Merge and Cerner
- Experience with Philips X-ray machinery
Nice To Haves
- Interventional radiology experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate the C-arm during procedures
- Assist medical professionals during cardiac and interventional radiology cases
- Prepare patients for procedures in accordance with best practices
- Participate actively in a team-oriented environment
