About The Position
Scripps Health is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for their Bone Marrow Transplant unit at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla. This position involves providing inpatient care for bone marrow transplant, solid organ transplant, and hematologic cancer patients. Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, blood products, stem cells, and CAR-T cells, managing treatment side effects, and educating patients and caregivers. The unit is a 24-bed, all-private room facility with a 3-4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, fostering a supportive and close-knit team environment. Requirements
- Current CA RN License
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- One year RN experience
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Previous RN experience in Oncology/BMT
Responsibilities
