About The Position

The Behavioral Health Float Pool consists of floating between Adult Behavioral Health, Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health, as well as the Behavioral Health unit in the Emergency Department. Requirements

• Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.

• Behavioral Health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care that is holistic, compassionate, and centered on the individual needs of each patient.
• Take responsibility for your nursing practice by making informed decisions and promoting health, recognizing that quality care is a universal right.
• Work closely with patients and a multidisciplinary team (Behavioral Health Technicians, Nursing Assistants, Health Unit Coordinators, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, Counselors, and Psychiatrists) to assess concerns, identify issues, and integrate both subjective and objective data.
• Develop tailored care plans, apply appropriate interventions, and continuously evaluate patient outcomes to enhance overall care quality.
