About The Position
Seabury at Pomperaug Woods is seeking a Weekend Baylor RN Nurse Supervisor to join their nursing team. This role offers a unique schedule where employees work two 12-hour overnight shifts every weekend (24 hours total) and receive pay for 32 hours. The position involves providing clinical leadership and supervision during the overnight shift, supporting nursing staff, performing resident assessments, overseeing care delivery, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards. The community is a beautiful senior living environment focused on exceptional resident experiences.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License
- Current CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
- Passion for providing exceptional care to older adults
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision during the overnight shift
- Support and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care
- Perform resident assessments and oversee care delivery
- Respond to clinical concerns and emergencies
- Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
