RN Assistant Director of Nursing- Mirador
About The Position
The RN Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing in administering, directing and coordinating all activities of nursing services, to ensure we are meeting the nursing needs of the residents. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the nursing leadership team, be driven, flexible and able to make the nursing team successful. This role involves leading the infection control and employee health programs, monitoring and establishing processes which result in five star clinical care, and assuming the duties of the Director during his/her absence. The ideal candidate will have prior tenure in a facility that has obtained good state survey results and demonstrate an understanding of the aspects of managing a skilled nursing unit. We are looking for an RN that desires a work environment where they can develop relationships with residents, feel great about the resources available to ensure outstanding care, and relish working with a staff that cares and is experienced.
Requirements
- RN license.
- Prior tenure in a facility that has obtained good state survey results.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the aspects of managing a skilled nursing unit.
- Possess strong ethical values.
- Show the ability to model MRC's ICARE values of integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence on a daily basis.
