About The Position
Christian Living Communities (CLC) | Cappella Living Solutions (CLS) is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support long-term care neighborhoods and lead the clinical team. This role is a key part of the Clinical Leadership team, contributing to strategic goals while also being hands-on in daily resident care. Requirements
- Registered Nurse in good standing in the state of operation, long-term care experience preferred.
- 1 – 3 years experience as an LPN/RN.
- 1 – 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- 1 year of experience in educating and/or training adult learners.
- Must be knowledgeable of state and federal laws and regulations for skilled nursing facility operation in the State of operation.
- Must be able to demonstrate competence in relevant technology.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Expertise in PPS, MDS, OBRA and OSHA requirements preferred.
- Administrative experience preferred.
- Support for Eden Alternative® philosophies.
- Great stories, a good sense of humor, or a mean dance move.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing and act on their behalf when needed.
- Serve as a Mentor and Coach, leading by example to build and maintain a resilient, dedicated care team.
- Ensure the highest quality of care through direct assessments, team development, and evidence-based practices.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning by providing ongoing education to nursing team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Be a visible leader—present on the floor and available to residents, families, and clinicians.
