About The Position

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Dickinson Walk-in Clinic. The clinic is a fast-paced environment serving patients across the lifespan. The RN uses the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role coordinates care, assesses and educates patients, performs triage and other nursing interventions, and collaborates with physicians and other interprofessional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and applicable standards, laws, and regulations. The position is scheduled for 24 hours per week, typically two self-scheduled shifts per week. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Every third weekend and holiday is required, with two holidays worked per year as part of the rotation. Acute care premium pay applies, and experience is credited toward the wage range.

Requirements

• Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities
