About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory setting within the Orthopedic Institute. The nurse will be responsible for patient care from arrival to departure, prioritizing quality care and patient safety. The position is part of a supportive, close-knit team in a small office environment, emphasizing work-life balance with no nights or on-call duties. Nurses are respected clinical experts, mentors, educators, and advocates, participating in clinical decision-making and quality improvement.

Requirements

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
For those hired into an RN position after January 1st, 2015, it is required to obtain a BSN within 5 years of start date.
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Nice To Haves

For those hired into an RN position prior to January 1, 2009, it is encouraged to obtain a BSN.
For those hired into an RN position after January 1st, 2009, it is required to obtain a BSN within 10 years of start date.
Experience in an ambulatory setting is desirable.
