Cleveland Clinic’s team of rheumatologists provides patients with expert diagnosis and treatment of autoinflammatory and autoimmune conditions. As an RN on the Rheumatology team, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience, improve patient safety and respond to needs quicker. This is a great opportunity to advance your skills and guide you down the path to taking on leadership positions down the line. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:30AM – 5:00PM.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
- Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Initiate CPR and other emergency measures as needed.
- Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
- Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
- Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
- Cover other nursing roles within the department.
