About The Position

80% FTE, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, no weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will float between various Pediatric Specialty Clinics located at the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals, who provide everything from preventive health care to highly specialized programs. Assist with phone triage, in-basket management, patient education and direct patient care. Be an active member of the highly collaborative interdisciplinary team. Care for our patients and families of varied patient populations and locations. Utilize your critical thinking skills in many ways such as triaging phone calls. Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, education and provide chronic condition management/education.

Requirements

  • Graduate of School of Nursing - Required
  • 6 months of RN experience - Required
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact - Required
  • CPR/BLS Certification - Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Preferred
  • Relevant RN experience - Preferred
  • Applicable clinical certification - Preferred
