The licensed Registered Nurse (RN) plans & provides professional nursing services & standards of practice in accordance with level of experience & education, state board of nursing & established policies & procedures. Requirements
- A NYS License
- BLS Required
- Ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate patient care
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of RN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Addresses the medical and psychiatric needs of patients experiencing mental health and substance abuse problems.
- Affording all patients and their families with a professional, caring, and safe environment
- Providing clinical and safety standards in order to ensure the highest quality of patient care
- Assessing the needs of each patient where assigned
- Planning the nursing care needed, including spiritual, emotional and physiological needs.
- Carrying out the plan of care through performance and or leadership of supervised personnel and evaluating the plan of care
- Delivering quality patient care
- Modifying and delivering care that is specific to the age, growth and development of patients according to the unit scope of services
- Assessing the needs of each patient and planning the nursing care needed to meet those needs when serving in the charge role
