About The Position

This is a full-time, 100% FTE position for a Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) specializing in Burn and Wound care. The role is based at UW Health Swedish American Hospital and operates on a day shift schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM. Additional compensation components include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime pay, and on-call pay. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
  • Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
  • Bi-annual CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialty certification in area of concentration.
  • ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in Burn and Wound specialty.
  • Work a 10-hour day shift, four days a week (M-F, 7 AM - 5 PM).
  • Potentially work evenings, nights, weekends, and be on-call, with associated differentials and pay.
  • Participate in shared governance structure.
