About The Position
The Admissions Nurse at Burnett Extended Care Center facilitates smooth transitions for new residents and their families. Working closely with the Admissions Coordinator, the nurse reviews referrals and inquiries from external sources, conducts initial nursing assessments, and ensures appropriate bed placement, availability of necessary supplies, and staff readiness to provide the required level of care. The position combines clinical expertise and compassionate, patient-centered care with administrative functions to support timely and efficient admissions.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities
