About The Position

This role is ideal for nurses who want to step into a more strategic, assessment-driven role without moving into management. The Admissions Nurse is the clinical quarterback, guiding the start of care and ensuring every patient begins with a clear, safe, and effective plan. This role allows the nurse to own the admission process from start to finish, providing full visibility and control over how each patient begins their care journey. It offers a clinical leadership role in the field, making real-time decisions that shape outcomes without being tied to a desk. The focus is on high-level assessments rather than task-based visits, allowing for full use of clinical judgment and experience. The nurse will be the trusted first point of contact for patients and families, setting expectations and building confidence in the care plan. The role operates within an established, high-volume referral network, ensuring consistent opportunity and steady workflow.
