About The Position

Apogee Engineering is looking for an experienced RMF / Information Assurance Manager that can provide senior-level leadership of information assurance and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities for NASIC systems. This position ensures systems meet applicable cybersecurity and accreditation requirements. Contingent Upon Contract Award

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen
• TS/SCI Clearance
• CISSP or DoD 8140-compliant certification
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or related functional area.
• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, computer science, or related field
• Extensive experience leading RMF and IA activities for DoD or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF activities across the system lifecycle, including categorization, control selection, implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
• Develop and maintain information assurance documentation (System Security Plans, POA&Ms, security assessment reports, etc.).
• Coordinate with system owners, engineers, and security stakeholders to ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies.
• Assess security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support accreditation decisions by providing technical and programmatic IA input.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to IA and cybersecurity staff.
