About The Position

The Modal Shop delivers innovative structural vibration and acoustic sensing systems and services to test laboratories and manufacturing facilities around the globe. The RMA Production Coordinator is responsible for communication and performance of RMA intake, distribution for services, and return of customer supplied product, and internal product, for purposes of calibration, upgrade, and/or repair. Assists in maintaining in-house calibration equipment. Develops, promotes, ensures compliance with and supports continuous improvement of the MSQS system.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Experience with servicing material returns, working in customer service.
  • Proven organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • As needed travel requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with service material returns and working in customer service in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with vendor management purchasing via ERP a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs intake function and coordination for RMA equipment received from customers.
  • Coordinates with Production Leads and vendors for resources required for calibration/repair of RMA equipment.
  • Maintains accurate records of RMA order status and performs follow up.
  • Interfaces with Sales team communicating ship dates, failure analysis/repair quotes, follow-up and amendments.
  • Prepares purchase orders for outside vendor calibration/repair services.
  • Manages delivery dates of calibration services from vendors.
  • Maintains RMA order status and changes in delivery dates.
  • Maintains accurate repair records and reports raw material usage for repairs.
  • Reviews completed calibration data certificates/discs and other pertinent records for accuracy.
  • Works with the Quality Team Lead and Quality Specialist to ensure calibration services provided by vendors meet ISO17025 and A2LA requirements.
  • Stages RMA orders for out-bound shipment; confirms returns are complete and accurate.
  • Performs other related duties as directed for the efficient operation of TMS and the production department.
