About The Position

The 2027 Coca-Cola Beverages Florida (“Coke Florida”) Summer Internship Program is a full-time 11-week program beginning May 17th and ending July 30th. The program is open to juniors and seniors enrolled in a collegiate undergraduate program or any students enrolled in a collegiate graduate program. Interns will receive coaching from experienced mentors, be exposed to practical work experience, and participate in impactful projects. For Summer 2027, Coke Florida is seeking interns within the following focus areas: Risk Sustainability (EHSS). The Risk Sustainability (EHSS) intern will work out of our Tampa Headquarters office.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in a related discipline and possess a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Self-starter who is flexible and has a strong drive for results.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong project management skills.
  • Proficient computer application skills.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without work authorization sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred majors: Occupation Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences.
  • Expected Skills: Problem solving, coordinating, execution, project planning, stakeholder meeting planning, status reporting, risk tracking, and executive-level project communications.
  • Prior food/beverage industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Foundational understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support EHSS projects, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Possesses strong communication and field engagement skills to effectively collaborate with operational teams, conduct site observations, and document project progress and findings.
  • Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area.
  • Interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value.
  • Analyze various business processes and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
