About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to complete data integrity reviews of all covered loans in compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) in order to effectuate successful CRA and HMDA data integrity examinations. The CRA and HMDA data integrity examinations contribute to the data reported on the annual CRA Loan Register and HMDA Loan Application Register submitted by the Data Integrity Manager to the Federal Reserve and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), respectively. This position requires the safekeeping and complete confidentiality of all customer transactions and information, including that of other bank personnel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 0-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-2 years of Compliance and Risk Management Experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong comprehension skills for reading internal policies, procedures, state and federal regulatory law.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to utilize excel, bank systems, and legal documents.
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data in a timely manner.
  • Strong oral or written communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.

  • Experience with HMDA and CRA data integrity reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Complete data integrity reviews of all covered loans in compliance with HMDA and CRA.
  • Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and developing knowledge and skills.
  • Perform HMDA and CRA Small Business loan data integrity reviews.
  • Analyze large sets of data in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to internal procedures, controls, and state and federal regulatory law.
  • Communicate potential issues and discrepancies to the line of business and the Data Integrity Manager/Team Lead.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and department quality standards.
  • Attend training programs on CRA and HMDA.
  • Complete, pass, and maintain up-to-date status for all positional and company required compliance and regulatory courses.
  • Participate in special projects and assignments while maintaining day-to-day responsibilities.
