Risk Solutions Associate
About The Position
GA Group is seeking a full-time Associate to join its Risk Solutions group. This team provides operational risk advisory expertise to clients in the US and overseas, focusing on business continuity, emergency and crisis management, enterprise risk management, and IT disaster recovery. The Associate will play a key role in developing and supporting strategic referral networks, including insurance brokers, accounting firms, and technology partners. Responsibilities include assisting with outreach, coordinating meetings, performing data analysis, writing reports, and presenting deliverables to manage client risk needs through a consultative approach. The role involves collaboration with internal advisory and valuation teams for proposal development, client presentations, and opportunity tracking, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented, growth-focused environment.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of post-graduation experience in business development, sales, consulting, or a related professional services environment
- Interest in risk solutions, including risk management and insurance, business continuity and resilience services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated initiative and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree required
Responsibilities
- Support business development efforts by identifying, researching, and qualifying prospective clients and referral partners
- Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment to plan projects and use of resources
- Develop project timelines with subject companies and existing clients; accountable for on-time completion
- Assist in preparing proposals, pitch materials, project deliverables and client presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with appropriate service offerings
- Stay informed on market trends and emerging risks impacting target clients
