As part of the Technology Leadership Program in the Risk & Security Engineering track, you’ll design and build secure technology solutions that strengthen Vanguard’s systems and reduce risk across the enterprise. Your work will focus on embedding security into applications and infrastructure - ensuring the systems that power Vanguard are resilient, reliable, and secure. Through real-world engineering assignments and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you’ll contribute to protecting Vanguard from evolving cyber threats while enabling innovation. Through technical capstones, hackathons, and hands-on projects, you’ll strengthen your technical expertise while building your ability to collaborate, influence, and lead. The Technology Leadership Program is a two-year rotational development experience designed for graduating students ready to begin their careers in technology. Participants complete three eight-month rotations across Risk & Security Engineering-focused teams, gaining exposure to areas such as secure software development, DevSecOps, identity and access management, and vulnerability remediation - while increasing ownership, responsibility, and leadership capability over time.
