Windcave is seeking an energetic Risk Monitoring Analyst to join their Acquiring team in New York City. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys variety and new challenges. The position involves monitoring transactions in real-time, analyzing high-risk transactions, and implementing mitigation strategies within the payment technology sector.
Requirements
- Quick learner and passion for cards and payments.
- Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or relevant discipline
- 2-3 years of proven experience in banking credit/merchant services or relevant role
- Excellent attention to detail, with accurate data entry skills and technically savvy
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment and must be able to maintain work authorization for the duration of employment.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring transactions in real time
- Analysing high-risk transactions and escalation
- Reviewing approvals for high-risk transaction types, such as over-the-phone, manual, and high-volume settlements
- Reviewing and releasing settlements
- Identifying risk patterns and putting mitigation strategies in place
