About The Position

Valkyrie Enterprises has a need for a Risk Management Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL, working within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Spectrum Management Office (SMO) in the Office of the Chief Engineer. In this role, you will support the MDA Chief Engineer and the Mission Risk Manager (MRM) by assisting with the development of Flight, Technical, and Cyber risks as they relate to both internal MDA systems and external systems.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and at least 7+ years of experience.
Must have Intermediate MS Office/TEAMS/PowerBI experience.
Must have excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical information to senior MDA leaders.
Must have experience with Risk development and assessment.
Must have an Active Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it.

Nice To Haves

Strong task management skills, preferred.
Experience working with probability and statistics, preferred.
Technical understanding of one or more MDS system, preferred.
Understanding of MDS systems engineering including system assessment, preferred.
Ability to qualify for a TS/SCI clearance, preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure consistent, thorough, and integrated management, execution, and products of Flight, Technical, Programmatic and Cyber risks through the MDA Risk Working Group (MRWG).
Execute Technical Risk assessments to support MDA Operational Capacity List (OCL) Decisions.
Execute expert review of evidence related to technical, and Cyber risks presented in System and Element requirements and design reviews.
Aid elements in risk development.
Participate in Mission Execution and disposition of Execution Risks and Event Observations in Daily MRWGs.
