About The Position

Supports the organization's risk management program, with primary responsibility for business license administration, annual regulatory reporting, and day-to-day contract intake, filing, and docketing. Provides backup support for routine insurance claims processing and other risk management functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field (Associate's degree with additional experience may be considered).
  • 2–4 years of experience in business, contract management, risk management, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Teammate must maintain strict confidentiality of all contract terms, pricing, claims details, and related business information, and must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest to the Director of Risk Management.
  • Timely and accurate processing of auto, property, and product insurance claims.
  • Maintenance of schedules and docketing calendar for contracts, business licenses, and claims.
  • Maintain the internal property/lease schedule, including key dates and coordination with real estate/facilities as needed.
  • Compliance with confidentiality and conflict-of-interest obligations.
  • Follow established processes and obtain required approvals prior to claim determination and closure, while proactively identifying and communicating opportunities for process improvement.
  • Meeting deadlines and commitments as required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain business license applications, renewals, and compliance tracking.
  • Prepare and submit required annual regulatory/compliance reports.
  • Manage contract intake, filing, and docketing within the corporate contract management system.
  • Review the contract docket and agreements to respond to internal and external questions.
  • Prepare related communications as needed.
  • Provide backup support for routine insurance claims processing (e.g., glass claims, notice-only auto claims, pre-approved general liability claims), including related tracking and reporting, as assigned.
  • Support the Risk Management team in other risk management activities as assigned.
