Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary education program
  • Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and returning to school after the internship.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work full-time for the entire duration of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in identifying potential risks to the organization, including financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Conducting quantitative analyses to evaluate risk levels and trends. This may involve using tools like Excel, SQL, or other data analytics software.
  • Preparing risk evaluation reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Keeping track of risk indicators and system performance to identify any emerging issues.
  • Helping ensure that the company adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies, which may involve reviewing contracts and documentation.
  • Working with various departments to understand their operations and the associated risks, fostering a collaborative approach to risk management.
  • Supporting specific risk management projects, which could include developing new processes or improving existing ones.
  • Participating in training sessions and networking opportunities to enhance understanding of the financial services industry and risk management practices.
  • Experience with AI-driven automation or using AI to improve processes.
