About The Position

The Business Technology Manager utilizes technical experience, business acumen, delivery and leadership skills to lead a team in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining a set of interrelated technology applications meeting the technology and operational objectives of a line of business or function.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience (required)
  • Extensive experience with consulting on development and delivery of new or enhanced business applications.
  • Working knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Extensive experience with marketplace experience, developments and trends related to the organization's use of Information Technology (IT); ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to benefit the organization.
  • Extensive experience with effective project management strategies and tactics and ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Extensive experience with effective agile project management strategies and tactics and ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Extensive experience with the value of innovation and ability to develop new ideas and initiatives that improve the performance of the organization.

  • Extensive experience with delivering new or enhanced fee-based software products.

  • Extensive experience with the ability to define, implement make changes to, and support a production application.
  • Working knowledge of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
  • Working knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Extensive experience with the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and administratively support the team members that comprise the following teams: GRC Development, GRC Support, and GRC Administration.
  • Actively manage the relationships with approximately 25 business program owners from across: Risk (Innovation, RCSA, Enterprise, Compliance, Model, Enterprise Change, Exam Mgmt, REA, Reg Change, others), BRC (BRC, TPM, IT ARCA), Internal Audit and Credit Risk Review, Enterprise Client Relations, SOX – Financial Crimes Governance CIS (Variance and Vulnerability) Third Party Security And other teams.
  • Manage the intake process for all requests for new application builds and existing application enhancements for approximately 175 Archer production applications, collectively known as “GRC.”
  • Manage the infrastructure according to IT Standards to performance within acceptable ranges (known as Well-Managed), including Vulnerabilities, Variances, patches, upgrades, interfaces, etc.
  • Perform monthly status and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Support senior management in the annual planning for Technology Initiative Portfolio (TIP) budget and business cases.
  • Serve as the TPM Engagement Manager for the Archer platform.

Benefits

  • This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $96,000.00 - $181,000.00 annually.
  • Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
  • Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
