About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Risk Examiner for our banking client on a project basis. This contract role is fully-remote.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields.
• Prior experience as a Commissioned Examiner from the FDIC, OCC, or Federal Reserve.
• 7+ years of relevant examiner experience.
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Advise banking client on risk management practices, governance, and regulatory expectations.
• Assess enterprise, credit, operational, liquidity, and market risk programs.
• Provide guidance based on experience conducting safety and soundness examinations for federal banking regulators.
• Review policies, controls, and risk frameworks to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with client leadership and project teams to deliver regulatory and risk-focused initiatives.
• Support project planning, stakeholder communication, and engagement execution as needed.
